Hogan Cognitive Assessments

Cognitive assessments help describe a person’s reasoning style and give insight into a person's ability to evaluate data sets, make decisions, solve problems, and avoid repeating past mistakes.

Combining personality and cognitive reasoning assessments gives a participant an in-depth and appropriately complex way to determine how to think about skills, development, incentives, values, and reasoning ability. These assessments offer concrete and actionable insights to fuel growth and development.

Hogan's tests reveal valuable cognitive insights.

A large part of leadership is responding appropriately to bad news or finding out a decision was wrong and then using that feedback to improve and make future adjustments. The Hogan Judgment test goes beyond “right” and “wrong” decisions. This cognitive test examines how people make decisions and assesses their decision-making biases. It also provides insight into a person’s typical reaction to feedback regarding their decisions.

This assessment takes about 20 minutes.

The Hogan Business Reasoning Inventory (HBRI) examines business reasoning ability - the ability to evaluate data sets, make decisions, solve problems, and avoid repeating past mistakes. All the HBRI problems are business-related and measure the test taker’s ability to use business information to make accurate data-based decisions

This assessment takes about 30 minutes.
